I headed out west in 1997 to attend Naropa University in Boulder, majoring in
Environmental Studies with minors in Horticulture and Landscaping. It was there
that I discovered Earthships: homes made of tires rammed with earth and other
recycled materials, creating a highly energy-efficient, beautifully unique abode
that is well-integrated into the surrounding environment.
I was totally hooked on the idea of building my own Earthship but that plan would
have to wait as I decided to attend massage therapy school in Southern CO after
earning my degree at Naropa.
After massage school, I immediately set out to find land to purchase after falling in
love with the peaceful vastness of Southern CO. With no building experience, I
began my dream project, embarking on a long journey of challenges, joys and
education.
My previous skills such as art and design, running my own landscaping business,
building an off-grid home, serving on the Board of Directors at my Property
Owners Association and assisting all kinds of people through being a massage
therapist served as a solid foundation for a career in real estate.
As our world and ways of living and working rapidly evolve, so have our real estate
needs. I consider this is an exciting time that invites creative thinking and
solutions. I look forward to assisting you in fulfilling YOUR visions!
