Fall colors in Salida

The beautiful fall colors in Salida are are a gradual progression.  I will take a photo every few days to actually see the progression.  The first photo is from September 18, 2015.

9-18 upstream
Arkansas River upstream from the F Street Bridge

Today there is a hint of yellow on the trees but the Arkansas River is spectacular. Mt. Princeton is in background. Notice the lack of snow!

9-18 downstream
Arkansas River downstream from the F Street bridge in Salida, Colorado

This is a down river shot the same day.  A little yellow can be seen.

Fast forward one week and we have the same blue sky.  The treesF Street Bridge Salida, Colorado

are still not changing much.   The Arkansas River has many phases.  It is certainly beautiful today!
